Hey! Listen:

StreetKnights is a (fictional) '90s cyberpunk-inspired beat-em-up, created for the 2nd OST Composing: Crunchtime jam.

The Story:

In a world where the Earth really is flat, the world is shrouded in darkness when a giant ceiling decends upon the plane. It's a spaceship of some sort, but there are no aliens in sight---just the endless dark. With only the invisible radiation from the ship's mysterious engine to keep the power on and the Earth warm, life has become an endless struggle for survival. The streets are no longer safe. In the midst of this cruel world, three individuals are drawn together by the threads of fate, by the unearthing of the mystery at the core of the world.

Juno is a hacker---and a pretty good one at that. She relies on the technology in her surroundings to decimate her opponents from the one place they're always vulnerable: their back. May is a mercenary, having just been dishonorably discharged from the sky carrier Avallonis for being drunk and disorderly, who thinks of herself as the self-appointed sheriff of her home district. Julius is a barber by trade, and a brawler by life: no one messes with him or his people, because if they do, they wake up the next day covered in their own blood.

When these three cyber warriors discover three mysterious disk drives with a commanding message hastily scribbled on top, they set out to join the others in the task the message appointed for them: Bring back the sun!

Tracklist:

  1. StreetKnights - 03m09s
  2. The Lonely Keyboard Princess - 03m06s
  3. What Good is Honor? - 02m43s

More tracks were planned, but due to life circumstances I didn't have time to make them within the deadline. This includes a character theme for Julius, pause menu music, and stage/boss battle music. I might update this OST later on with those tracks but we'll see.
